Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've ever wanted to get a robot vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo j7+ is also the best robot to mop we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don’t would like. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.
The design is also better than the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that resembles toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It even managed to catch small gravel and sand which other robots aren't able to do. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, while not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it can be difficult to determine if they are working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best option is probably one that is a hybrid. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it lacks certain features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little misses in corners and on walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas, alter your home map, or change the room's label.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place, emptying the bin is easy. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people but it can help you keep track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. robotic hoovers robotvacuummops is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the top in the market however it's quite expensive.
Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does well at picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning area for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price price.
If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive, but offers more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to a power outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move around but.
The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it will be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.
The way that the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to draw an image of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges faster and has a similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and it's less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
